STEVE SANDERS AND DEBRA SUKIN NAMED HONORARY CHAIRS OF THE 2014 FIVE WHO SHARE LUNCHEON

steve sanders debra sulkinInterfaith of The Woodlands is pleased to announce that Steve Sanders, CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital, and Debra Sukin, CEO of St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital, CEO of Lakeside Hospital and Senior Vice President, St. Luke’s Health System, have been named the Honorary Chairs for the 2014 Five Who Share Spring Luncheon.    The annual spring event honors five outstanding community volunteers in the areas of Health, Seniors, Fine Arts, Youth and Education.  The winners are presented with a Service of Excellence Award during the luncheon which will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Marriot Waterway Hotel and Convention Center.

“The Five Who Share Spring Luncheon is one of the premier events of the year for Interfaith of The Woodlands, and I am humbled to serve as an Honorary Co-Chair alongside Ms. Sukin  There are so many individuals who contribute to the areas that this event spotlights – health, education, fine arts, youth and seniors. It is what makes The Woodlands a great place to work and live,” said Steve Sanders.

“It is so important to recognize these individuals and salute them in their extraordinary efforts towards making a difference in our community,” added Debra Sukin.

“We are delighted that Mr. Sanders and Ms. Sukin have agreed to lend their support to such an important event for Interfaith.  With the theme of this year’s luncheon focusing on health, Steve and Debra were the perfect choice to serve in this role,” said Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Nomination forms for the 2014 Five Who Share Spring Luncheon can be found on the Interfaith website at http://woodlandsinterfaith.org/events/spring-luncheon.php.  The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, January 24.  A Service of Excellence Award will be presented to an individual in each category that demonstrates commitment and dedication in the specified area of service, is positive role model in the community, and helps to significantly improve lives or community conditions through service.
