The Howard Hughes Corporation®(NYSE: HHC) and its wholly-owned subsidiary The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC), today announced that Woodlands Family Dental has signed a lease for approximately 3,600 square feet of office space in the new Creekside Park Village Center in The Woodlands’ Village of Creekside Park.
The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Howard Hughes Corporation (NYSE:HHC), will celebrate the grand opening of the new 120-acre traditional neighborhood of Liberty Branch in the Village of Creekside Park with a free home tour, old-fashioned entertainment and refreshments. When guests visit all nine model homes, they will be eligible to win one of three $500 American Express gift cards. The event, which is open to the public, is set for Saturday, February 8 and Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 10 am – 5 pm.
The Woodlands Development Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Howard Hughes Corporation (NYSE:HHC), has begun construction of Creekside Village Green, the centerpiece for the highly-anticipated Creekside Park Village Center in The Woodlands. The Village Green will encompass a scenic tree-lined park with a water feature surrounded by a lawn and pergolas for shade. A 4,500-square-foot restaurant will anchor the west end of the park and two 40,000 square-foot split level retail/office buildings will flank the north and south sides.
Development and new home building are well underway in the 120-acre neighborhood of Liberty Branch in The Woodlands’ Village of Creekside Park.
Liberty Branch is a traditional neighborhood design (TND) development, a complete neighborhood built upon traditional town planning principles. A TND includes a range of housing types, a network of well-connected, tree-lined streets, and public spaces within walking distance of schools, shopping, dining and recreation.
Liberty Branch is within close proximity to Timber Creek K-6 Elementary School, part of the Tomball ISD, and the new Creekside Park Village Center will feature a pedestrian and family-friendly village green with a sprayground, restaurant, shops and services. An H-E-B grocery store, Walgreens drug store, several banks and Primrose School have signed on to be part of Creekside Park Village Center. Liberty Branch also includes two parks – Liberty Square Park and Rockwell Square Park. Both parks feature unique and nostalgic design elements that harken back to simpler times, such as a town square in Liberty Square Park and a pavilion modeled after a one-room schoolhouse in Rockwell Square Park.
Four homebuilding companies have contracted to purchase all 400 lots in the new neighborhood including David Weekley Homes, 137 lots; Coventry Homes, a division of McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc., 136 lots; Palmetto Homes, 84 lots; and J. Kyle Homes, LLC, 43 lots. Sales offices are now open.

David Weekley Homes features three different home styles in five different sections in Liberty Branch, with prices ranging from the $500s – $900s. Three model homes will display these traditional neighborhood designs. David Weekley Homes is a national leader in TND home design with experience in multiple projects in multiple states.
Coventry Homes plans to open two models homes in Liberty Branch. The homes will have features that are typical of traditional neighborhood design including oversized porches, traditional elevations, wood flooring, three-car garages, butler’s pantries, mother-in-law suites, covered rear porches, patios and outdoor kitchens. Prices will range from the $400s – $900s.
Palmetto Homes plans to open four models for touring in October. Of the 84 lots Palmetto has contracted to purchase, 33 will be townhomes and 51 will be attached patio homes. Homes are priced from the $270s.
J. Kyle Homes plans to open a model home soon. Forty-three single-family homes are planned by J. Kyle, priced from the $400s to the high $500s. There will be a variety of home styles including Craftsman, Classic American and English Tudor with many optional features such as outdoor kitchens, wet bars, Thermador kitchens, sunken whirlpool tubs and three-car garages.
