The annual High Noon Countdown party is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 31. The museum will be open until 1 p.m. to allow extra time for little ones to play.

The event, included in the price of admission, will feature live music by Tom’s Fun Band. There will also be a variety of games, art projects, the famous Bubble Wrap Dancing and a balloon and confetti drop at the countdown stroke of noon.

The museum will valet park strollers to alleviate congestion. Sling-type carriers for infants are recommended.

“Start the New Year off on the right foot – with creative play and fun festivities,” executive director Angela Colton said. “We hope the community joins us for one of our favorite annual events and discovers all that the museum has to offer.”

The Pancakes With Santa event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14. The museum is located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280.

“Celebrate the holidays over pancakes,” executive director Angela Colton said. “This is a chance for children to get into the wonder of the holidays and have a more personal experience with Santa Claus.”

Wicked Whisk will be making the pancakes to order – and there will be a buffet of other breakfast fixings. Children may also create a variety of art projects and enjoy live music by Tom’s Fun Band. Harmony the Clown and Abby the monkey will also be in attendance – stirring up some elfish fun.

Montgomery Bakehouse in Conroe generously donated an awesome birthday cake for the party!
Frozen Bliss, a shaved ice business that uses natural syrups made from real fruit syrups, will be on location selling tasty frozen treats.
